IKW Recommendation for the Quality Assessment of the Product Performance of Degreasing Power Cleaners (2017)
Degreasing Power Cleaners are intended to be used in households for cleaning areas with greasy soils, e. g. kitchens.
Degreasing Power Cleaners are preparations consisting of various surfactant mixtures, water soluble sovents and complexing agents.They also contain additives such as perfumes and colourants as well as preservation auxiliaries. Formulations are available as standard products and/or concentrates.
The methods, as described in the recommendation for the quality assessment of the product performance of all-purpose cleaners of 2014 are unsuitable for power cleaners intended to remove grease. For this reason, this recommendation is elaborated specially for those products.
