Review on the DGK IKW Training in January 2017

Exposure to cosmetic products and percutaneous penetration were the major subjects of the two day training for safety assessors on 30 and 31 January 2017 in Frankfurt am Main. The training is one of the programme of totally seven courses. The courses are organised by the German Society for Scientific and Applied Cosmetics, DGK, together with IKW, the German Industry association for cosmetics. The trainings aim to educate safety assessors for cosmetics. The programme has started in German in 1998 and in 2013 we started the courses in English.

About 20 attendees from 10 different countries from all over the world (e.g. Indonesia, Slovenia, Poland) listened to the presentations of experienced speakers from industry, university and government. All participants passed the multiple choice test at the end of the course. With passing this test two participants finalized the total series of seven courses.
