Cosmetics and Sustainability – What Germans Think
Unlike a few years ago, the topic of sustainability is now everywhere. Whether in business, society or the environment, people are increasingly concerned with sustainability. Many are already trying to live more sustainably. The Competence Partner Beauty Care of IKW took a closer look and wanted to know to what extent people are succeeding in changing their previous habits. And above all: to what extent does this also affect the cosmetics sector?
The results of the current IKW study "Cosmetics and Sustainability - What Germans Think" reveal the inner conflict people feel when it comes to sustainability. They show the different strategies for soothing one's conscience when it comes to sustainability and reveal what people expect from sustainable cosmetics.
In the course of the depth-psychologically representative study, 1120 women and men between 16 and 69 years of age in Germany were interviewed. The study was conducted by Lönneker & Imdahl rheingold salon.
